Bredent Zirconium Implant
Bredent zirconium implants are metal-free implant systems with high biocompatibility, used in the treatment of missing teeth. They provide a natural appearance, especially in patients with high aesthetic expectations, thanks to their gum-compatible structure. They carry a low risk of allergies and have excellent compatibility with both soft and hard tissues in the oral cavity. When necessary, they can be applied under local anesthesia or sedation in a clinical setting, and in cases requiring advanced surgery, they can also be performed under general anesthesia in an operating room.
What is a Zirconium Implant?
Zirconium implants are dental implants made from zirconia-based ceramic material instead of titanium. They can be safely preferred for patients with metal sensitivities. Since they do not create dark reflections at the gum line, they provide an aesthetic advantage, especially for anterior tooth gaps. Their surface structure allows for strong bonding with the bone, aiming for long-term stability.
In which cases are Bredent zirconium implants preferred?
They are preferred in individuals with metal allergies, in single-tooth gaps in aesthetic areas, in patients at risk of gum recession, and in treatments where biological compatibility is a priority. Additionally, the success rate is quite high in patients who maintain good oral hygiene and attend regular check-ups.
Precautions Before Zirconium Implant Treatment
During the first 24 hours after the procedure, the implant area should be protected, and hot foods and drinks should be avoided. Smoking and alcohol consumption are not recommended as they can negatively affect healing. Medications prescribed by the dentist should be taken regularly, and oral hygiene should be performed carefully with a soft toothbrush. Follow-up appointments should not be missed, and the health of the tissues around the implant should be monitored regularly.
