Tooth decays cause important diseases such as sinusitis, diabetes, tonsillitis, rheumatism, osteoporosis. Apart from these; systemic diseases such as heart and kidney failure, diabetes and ulcers are directly related to oral health. Coronary vascular diseases are more common in people with gum disease. Oral and dental care that is not applied as it should be can make the treatment of systemic diseases difficult or the weakening of the immune system caused by the disease can cause tooth loss. Especially in people with diabetes; disruption of oral care can cause irreversible damage to the mouth and teeth.
